We have some ideas for what's creating topical resources for school and home. Have a look below and see what we have got for this month.

April brings us Springtime and Easter eggs, YUM! (see our Easter resources and Easter accessible images) It also brings us Autism Awareness week (29 March -4 April) and of course the Bard's birthday (William Shakespeare) on 23 April.

Events to celebrate this month

  • Vaisakhi is an ancient Sikh harvest festival marking the beginning of a new year and new harvest season. Have a look at our Sikh resources.
  • Palm Sunday, a christian tradition, part of the Easter story. We thought we'd check if you are ready for egg hunting? Here's our tactile image of a basket of decorated eggs to get you in the mood!
  • Good Friday, here is our accessible tactile image of the three crosses on Calvary Hill in readiness for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the two thieves.
  • It's Easter Sunday, wishing everyone a very Happy Easter. Hope the Easter Bunny brings you lots of chocolate eggs! Find more fun accessible images.
