How do I download CFVI Resources?
Resources are available for all to locate within the RNIB Bookshare platform by visiting the CFVI Resources page, you can select the CFVI area you wish to find resources within and browse both the signposted external resources and downloadable resources in that area. However, in order to download a resource you will need to register as an RNIB Bookshare member.
To download a resource from the CFVI resource hub, follow these simple steps:
Locating CFVI resources
- Log in to your RNIB Bookshare account
- Click on the 'CFVI Resources' tab in the navigation at the top of the page or, access the CFVI resource hub directly from the Bookshare ‘Homepage’.
- On entering the CFVI Resource hub landing page, you can browse CFVI resources in two ways:
- By Area (Recommended): Click the CFVI area you are interested in and you will be taken to a page which hosts both externally linked resources and downloadable resources in accordance with each designated CFVI Area.
- By Search: At the top right of the screen, you will be presented with a 'Search CFVI resources' bar, enter a key word, such as 'Braille', 'mobility' etc into this area, and you will be presented with downloadable resources only within this area.
Download a resource
Once you have discovered a resource you wish to download, click on it. If you are logged in, the resource will open immediately for you.
