A Victorian horse and carriage (UEB uncontracted)
Synopsis
This image shows a horse drawn carriage from the side, with the horse on the left, carriage and rider on the right. There is a locator dot shown, which will be at the top left of the page when the image is the right way up.The horse is facing to the left and walking so all four legs can be found. It is wearing blinkers, a bridle, and a harness. Attached to the bridle are the reins which the driver is holding in his hand. The harness is attached to the carriage by a large pole that reaches from the horse's neck to the main part of the carriage.
Above the pole the driver sits on a bench. Only one eye, arm and leg can be found. He wears a bowler hat, and boots on his feet. Two of the four large spoked carriage wheels can be found. Above the larger of the two wheels to the right, is the back of the carriage with a folded hood. Between the two wheels the carriage dips and there is a step to get into the carriage.
